I'll use Norse Tradesman again.
I have purchased several items for family members through the Norse Tradesman store. In every case it has been exactly what I hoped for, and delivered quickly. Last night, my adult daughter enjoyed a horn of mead while wearing a necklace from Norse Tradesman, and I decided that the next time she needs a gift, it will again come from this shop.
Very well made. The spine is straight and the woodwork on the handle is perfect. Arrived very sharp and with a diamond stone, it sharpened well with a 20 degree angle. I chose not to carry it with the included leather strap; I added a belt loop to the sheath for vertical carry. And I burned in some runes on the sheath to add a personal touch. I’ve used the knife for everyday cutting chores, as well as boring holes in the ground for planting vegetables. It’s held up fantastically; much better than I actually expected, especially for the price. Overall, this is an awesome knife! Well done, Norse Tradesman!
its bigger then i thought which is good and im loving it
The Hnefatafl Travel Set just arrived today and I was very surprised by its size. I was expecting something relatively smallish (yeah I didn't read the product dimensions because who ever does that?) but no, this thing is massive and easy to see and handle for us older Vikings.
That said, the pieces are very unique and really a work of art unto themselves and the king piece has a really nice, old world aesthetic with the face carving. The black pieces have a nice rustic quality.
The bag/playing board is very high quality pebble grain leather and has a very sturdy drawstring to cinch it up.
If you are looking for a great buy to unleash your inner Viking's gamer side then this is a great buy
I am a Norse pagan / heathen and I am very happy with this! It has exactly what I want and is good price, is quality, has a nice weight, and feels very comfortable for all day wear (I even workout with it!). I have had no problems with the necklace. Would highly recommend, will be very happy to buy from this shop again!
