The Vegvísir guides the way through the storm
- Solid bronze, 12 g, 3.3 cm diameter
- Mounted on a heavy jump ring
In Norse belief the Vegvísir, or Norse compass, keeps its bearer from losing their way in rough weather — from the old word
hafvilla, "bewildered, lost at sea." Encircling it is the runic vow
"I do not stop when tired, I stop when done." The design is incuse-struck (recessed) so the lettering stays dark with daily carry.
