MADE IN INDIA!!!!! Just received order of 16oz tankards, excited as gifts for Swedish family. Description makes you fully think they are true NORSE but nope MADE IN INDIA!!! I did research and this company seemed legit. Beyond disappointed, I dunno they sure do feel like plastic too, not sold that it's true ox. Beware 🤬

Purchased several drinking vessels. One of the tankards leaked at the bottom. After writing several emails, I did reach someone and they did send a replacement. The replacement was not only way smaller than the leaking original but it too, leaked from the base. I sent an email, in the same email chain previous, stating that the new one leaked and no reply. I wrote again and NO REPLY. I guess quality control is on vacation as well as customer service. I guess they went raiding after they raided my wallet. NO THANKS NORSE
This is truly a magnificent drinking mug. Super Large, well crafted. A masterpiece. I received one X large a one large. A friend received the large one and he was blown over.
I absolutely love the mug I received. It’s the right color and it looks like it’s right out of a Viking ale house. My mug did arrive damaged in two different places but the customer service helped me with some money off of the price for the inconvenience. The handle was split at the bottom and a large chunk was taken out of the top of the handle. Thank you so much Norse Tradesman!

My brother (who I absolutely loathe for being a narcissist) decided to get me this mug for Christmas. Immediately, the smell from the mug is overwhelming. Not sure if it was decayed and rotten animal parts, or that plus the overload of glue smell but it was ATROCIOUS. I still kept the mug on a shelf nearby a window, 3 weeks later I just couldn’t bare the putrid chemical rotten smell anymore. This is after me cleaning it 10-20x. It’s now in the city dump, WHERE IT BELONGS. My stupid brother has always been an ungrateful POS, I’m convinced this was his way of getting back at me, despite the fact I’ve gotten him $500 gifts. You should only buy these mugs if you wish to further alienate and piss off your sibling.

The cup is great. However what the picture shows the design to be, was not at all what I received. I order the ringed one and mine is mostly like 90% white with a little coloring towards the bottom. It was a gift for my husband so he is not distant loves the cup. So we call that a win and I’ll keep my disappointment to myself

Paid for fast shipping over 20 days ago . Didn’t get a tracking number that worked for 11 days. The package finally went from Florida to California , then to Texas….. I live in Oregon! Good thing I ordered in time for Christmas……. At this point my tracking number is saying after Christmas for delivery. Thanks for nothing Wanker! I hope you get Cancer! Beware of this Scammer!
The mug is amazing and their customer service was the best.
I bought four of the larger cups while in Scotland two years. Oh, they were so impressive looking. The liquid makes the wooden bottom swell and leak. My husband tried caulking, sealing and more. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. But he persevered; made a new bottom from a plastic. I bought some beeswax, melted and poured into cup. When hardened , that did the trick.
I cannot believe that out of 900 plus good reviews. These people , obviously, are not sippers but rather, down the liquid before it has time to seep into the wooden bottom!
Hello Lucy, I'm really sorry to hear that one or more of your tankards were leaking! One of the challenges of working with wood and horn is that with temperature and moisture changes, some warping of the materials can occur and occassionally, this can result in a leaking mug.
But for future reference, we would absolutely replace those mugs free of charge if reported within one year of purchase (under our manufacturer warranty).

My horn mug is great!! I’m very happy with it.
I ordered this for my son for his birthday. I was so excited to see his reaction, that I gave it to him a month early. He really loves it.
Reeks and tastes of cheap, nasty chemicals that cannot be cleaned or gassed off. I do not recommended this poser product. For decoration to gather dust on a shelf only, this is a waste of money.
I’ve bought more than one mug from them. The quality is amazing.
