Style: Classic Set

14 items left

A set of four genuine ox-horn cups fit for a chieftain. Each 12 oz cup is hand-cut and hand-polished from authentic, ethically sourced ox horn, so every one is unique in shape and color. The interior is coated with food-safe lacquer and set on a wooden base with food-safe epoxy.

Each of the four horns is hand-engraved with a Celtic knot around the rim, filled with red dye for a striking Viking finish. They arrive packaged in a medieval burlap sack.

Disappointed, how the site advertised these as drinkable cups.

Expected foods grade, food safe drinking mugs, but I guess they are only for decoration with their thick slathering of Chineseium lacquer. Made the mistake of drinking warm coffee out of one and got a mouthful of chemicals and then volcanic diarrhea. Soaked them in vinegar solution followed by soaking in cup after cup of soapy water...still putrid with chemical smell after two weeks efforts.

Throw Away The Glassware!

These horns are so beautiful and fit so well in your hand you can toss out all your traditional drinking vessels. Plus I am convinced the mead and everything else taste better from these horns!

So we talked around Christmas about me wanting the classic hirn cup set with the knotwork on the top for my wedding. Im checking to see if that will become available soon. I am wanting to buy 2 sets (8 cups) as gifts for my wedding. Will it be available again soon?

Norse Tradesman

Hi Corban, lucky enough, we do have the materials to put together a few more of these sets. I've just turned on backorder capability for this item on our website, so if you check again, you will be able to purchase those 2 sets. Just please note it may take up to 10 days for us to ship this set out. I hope that helps and thanks for being a loyal customer!

Will the classic horn cup set be available again? I really like it and wanted to order a set of 8.

Norse Tradesman

We're glad you like the design! The good news is that we'll be back in stock in about 2-4 weeks. Please sign up for the email stock updates on the product page for this item and you'll be notified the second we're back in stock.

Can these cups be used with hot beverages? Or only room temperature to cold?

Norse Tradesman

Only room temperature to cold. The heat can warp the horn and cause a leak!
