A hand-carved cup in the tradition of the Sámi people of northern Scandinavia. Each kuksa is carved from solid hardwood and flame-treated to seal and harden the wood, so no two cups look exactly alike. Its compact size makes it easy to pack for camp or trail.
Every kuksa is hand-engraved with a line of Norse runes reading "Sweet are the waters of Balgia & Njord" — bushcraft with a Viking twist. It arrives in a medieval burlap sack.
Great looking cup and fast shipping
I love this drinking vessel. Looks great with all the runes carved on it. If they can make the runes more visible it woukd be perfect. I cant wait to start using it.
They are just too Darn Cool. Very well made, got two of them. Holds 8oz of liquid, enough for a Hot or Cold Beverage.

The cup is very lightweight it's wonderfully carved, I read Elder futhark but I'm not quite sure what the Elder futhark carvings are on this cup say doesn't quite make sense, I love everything about it and best of all it's functional it's not meant to be decorational

While the cup looks nice, the tag says made in India. I thought this store sold handcrafted products but this looks and feels anything but. It is nice and will serve its purpose but this feels mass produced and like anything mass produced it can be obtained from Amazon for the same price. I thought I was purchasing a unique and individual piece but that, it is not.
I really like this product. It went directly into my camping gear.
This cup is beautifully crafted and functional. I prefer to use this over metal (they get hot), plastics (they poison you) and ceramics are too much extra weight. It also makes me the coolest kid at the campfire.

The cup arrived sooner than expected. The craftmanship is superb! A full 11-12 oz. It has become my weekend coffee mug of choice for relaxing on the couch. The runic etchings are well done, add to the enjoyment of the mug.
