Rune Set – Elder Futhark Ox-Bone Divination

I did not know when I placed order the blank Rune is not part of this set. Be advised. I made a blank one. I’m still happy with set. Artist was accessible.

The “bones” might not be bone, but it’s fine, was a gift for someone and they liked it. That’s what matters.

This set is gorgeous and I highly recommend it to anyone. My only complaint is that the seller made a mistake and apparently forgot to include the bead and tie off the leather cord. Excellent set otherwise!

I very much like the set. The quality and feel of the runes is very nice. The wooden runes are lightweight enough to carry without too much hassle. A small drawstring bag for the runes themselves would add tremendous value, even with a price increase.
Everything bundles nicely in the well thought out casting mat and drawstring pouch.
I have several sets of runes, and this set is one of my favorites. The wood, along with being lightweight, eliminates the worry of breakage or chipping during transport.
These are very nice and I would highly recommend them.

I have searched years for a Runes set that I felt worthy enough for me to continue on with my Runes study. Without elaborating on the search and alternatives I used to follow my deep love for Nordic studies I’ll say that I am honored to have the Rune Divination Set acquired through Norse Tradesman. The quality of the Rune pieces and the leather throwing mat doubles as a perfect way to store my Runes.

This is my first rune set so I have nothing to compare it to, but the runes are all polished extremely smooth and the carving is deep and easy to read. The leather pouch is made of a decently thick leather that feels good
