Was very disappointed when I received my horn. It looked nothing like the one on the video. I contacted customer support and they said they couldn’t guarantee sending a larger one. Be warned
Horn looks amazing! Feels just like it should, authentic. The leather strap has some issues staying on at the smaller end, but it's nothing that can't be fixed with some tightening. Instructions were slightly confusing, support was more than helpful and sent me a virtual replacement. 5 stars, will buy from them again

Looked forward to receiving the “War Horn” and adding it to my wall array of Viking memorabilia.
Immediately disappointed when out of the box came a synthetic, plastic (?), short, fat horn looking nothing like that depicted in the add (longer, authentic-looking horn).
Very disappointed. I feel like throwing it in the trash when I place it beside the other memorabilia.
This is the first out of several very expensive purchases for myself and for my sons with Norse Tradesmen that I’ve been disappointed with. It gives me pause in considering future purchases I’m considering regarding musical instruments.

Honestly I wasn’t expecting the level of quality. Given my experiences with other companies in the past. However, I was given a welcome surprise when first sounding off the horn. I have experience with instruments so figuring out how to get Doom Singer to sound off properly was no issue. Not to mention the helpful video provided on the website, it helped me iron out a few sound issues (I believe I was getting a “duck” sound for a little while, but that had nothing to do with the horn itself). I would 100% recommend this product to practicing Norse/Germanic pagans and even to those just looking for cool items. I will be buying more products from you all, keep up the great work.

I am updating this review. There was an issue with the first horn and because of the exemplary customer service from Norse Tradesman, I had a new horn in absolutely perfect condition a week later. I can't say enough how good their customer service is. I will be buying products from them in the future. Highly recommend.

This horn looks great. It also sounds great, and is easy to blow, though I haven't been able to hit the fabled higher register yet. I could make a solid sound on the first try, so if you've ever blown any other musical instrument ever, you'll have no problem.
The "roughly" 28" is not quite 28" in any dimension. Following the outside curve is only 25" on mine. Still, nobody would complain that it's too small.
It's sturdier than it looks, though I wouldn't want to drop it, so you'll want to find a case for transport (and good luck finding one for this size/shape!). The leather strap is essentially worthless: on one side, it's merely choked around a narrow part of the horn. There's nothing holding it securely there, and it will frequently slip off without warning. (Would drilling a second hole there have hurt acoustics?) Ignore the strap and always carry it by the body.
There's an included how-to pamphlet which seems to have a copy/paste error and is not worth the paper it's printed on.
