Using pieces made of ox bone certainly has a literal feel of the past, using materials that the Vikings might have had access to. The string along the outside of the board seems to be very sturdy and should last a good while. The board is also high quality in materials and the design again enhance has the fun of this very delightful game.

Wow. This is a beautiful set. The individual pieces are hand made and the board is 100% leather and looks amazing. It’s big too. Thought it would be smaller but it’s big. And easy to store. Highly recommend this set. And it’s a fun and challenging game

Received the set as a gift, and it's stirred up game night as veteran board gamers, and chess players are feeling out a totally different set of tactics. Game is quick, so it stayed set up and people just tagged in and out. 'I need a brain break!' Engraved board is beautiful.

Love this shop so much but I’m pretty sure my Viking loved his game more… very impressive, you can tell with each piece that a lot of craftsmanship went into every detail! Thank you! I’ll be back for all my Viking needs;-)
